You can whip this up in about 5 minutes. It's a tasty and filling smoothie that's great post workout or when you're a hurry to get your day started healthfully.
Ingredients
1 c coconut milk (unsweetened)
1/2 c water
Juice of half a lemon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 tblsp coconut oil
2 tblsp almond butter (unsweetened, unsalted, all natural)
2 tblsp hemp seeds
1/2 a banana
4-5 raw walnuts
1/2 c blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 c cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz on high until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy a healthy smoothie. If you don't have cranberries you can use all blueberries or another berry of your choice. A mix of blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries would be tasty in this shake as well. I usually load my freezer up with cranberries around Thanksgiving when they're very low priced at the grocery stores.
