Tasty snack that will satisfy your salty cravings. Great for parties and munching on while you're waiting for dinner to be ready.
Ingredients
Yield: About 6 cups popped corn
3 tblsp avocado oil
2/3 c popcorn kernels
1/2 tsp fine salt
2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tblsp nutritional yeast
1 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
Heat oil in a large dutch oven over medium heat. Add popcorn kernels and cook until most kernels are popped. Once the popping slows down that's a good indicator to remove from heat so as not to burn the corn. Drizzle another tablespoon of olive oil over the popped kernels and shake in the pot to evenly distribute the extra oil. Add all remaining ingredients and toss until corn is evenly coated in the spices.
